The Olde Forest is a design and publishing studio operating at the threshold between the rational and the mythic — where the logic of systems meets the language of myth. The practice spans critical and speculative design and an independent imprint producing short graphic novels.
Inside every complex system is a recursive logic — a pattern that, once traced, can be used to build something new. Work begins with rigorous research and ends in constructed worlds: precise, layered, and deliberately strange.
Everything built here is a form of mythopoeia — world-building with a designer's precision. Critical design and graphic narrative are the tools; estrangement is the outcome. Every project begins from the same conviction: to understand this world, build another.
